CIRCA 1680-1700, DAPW MONOGRAM 10 MARK
Painted in the manner of the Chinese Wanli period, the centre with ducks in a river landscape, with two ducks on a riverbank by large flowering shrubs, another in flight above, within a waved and ogival octagonal white and blue band cartouche edged with blue panels alternating with diaper panels, the blue-ground border reserved with radiating arched panels of flowers alternating with panels of precious objects against scrolls, divided by radiating precious objects, the underside with radiating panels of circles alternating with scrolls (chipping and flaking to rim and footrim, areas of wear)
