A Minoan bronze figure of a Snake Goddess
the buxom figure wearing a short apron over a full tiered skirt, holding a snake in each raised hand, another wound round her conical headdress -- 2 3/8in. (5.5cm.) high, circa 1500 B.C.; and another female votive figure, fragmentary, with stylized features and hands clutched below her breasts -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) high, circa 1200-1100 B.C.
