A DUTCH DELFT BLUE AND WHITE BOTTLE-VASE

The slightly bulbous oviform body painted with Orientals at discussion and various pursuits on a terrace with geometric bands linking stylised fences, palms, shrubs and rockwork, two figures by a low square table with a vase of flowers, between horizontal line borders and below a band of interlocking scrolls, the upper part and neck with two Orientals by rockwork and fences, one seated and holding a fan, below a similar band of scrolls at the rim (chipping to footrim, upper rim with substantial chipping and remains of old restoration)
