CIRCA 1700-1720, PROBABLY DE METAALE POT, LVE (?) MONOGRAM 4 1 K * MARK PROBABLY FOR LAMBERTUS VAN EENHOORN
The lower part painted with bouquets of flowers between blue-ground up and down-turned ogival lappets reserved with foliage, the upper part similarly decorated below a border of similar lappets at the neck, the centre with a border of interlocking C-scrolls with pendant foliage (both rims with a large chip and further smaller chipping and flaking, upper part with minute chip)

This vase could possibly have once formed part of the same garniture as the two similar vases and covers (61.5 cm. high) in the Musée Royale d'Art et Histoire, Brussels; see J. Helbig, 'Faïences Hollandaises' Catalogue (n.d.), Vol I Pièces marquées, p. 57, fig. 30.
