THE DUTCH VASE CIRCA 1690-1700, THE OTHER PROBABLY 20TH CENTURY
Both painted in blue, the Dutch vase enriched in manganese, the 'cracked-ice' grounds reserved with white serrated leaf-shaped panels enclosing stylised landscapes with buildings and Oriental figures, the grounds with two bold lotus sprays at the sides, the lower part of the Dutch vase with a lappet border, the upper part with a flowerhead and foliage scroll border (Dutch vase with chipping to rim and minute fritting to footrim)
