Decorated in blue, shades of red and gilding in the Imari manner, of baluster form with a waisted foot, painted with scattered bouquets, flower-sprays and birds in flight, the lower part with a border of scrolls and lotus divided by blue lappets, the neck with pendant red lappets reserved with white foliage and gilt flowers below a blue border gilt with foliage scrolls, the handle with an indentation for mounting (chipping to rims, areas of very slight wear to enamels and gilding)
