with naturalistically detailed body and striated wingcase, traces of gold leaf around the legs -- 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) long; another similar, head repaired -- 1 7/8in. (4.9cm.) long; and another, smaller, the underside with remains of gilding -- 1 3/8in. (3.4cm.) long, all Late Period (712-332 B.C.) (3)
