Henry Schoolcraft (report on fur trade on the upper Mississippi), John Dougherty, William Gordon, Farnham and Davenport (answer to inquires about the fur trade), A.P. Chouteau and John Jacob Astor. Also printed is a statement of the location of posts for trade with the Indians, a tabular statement showing the number of licenses issued to persons wishing to trade with the Indians in 1824-1831, a tabular statement showing the number and names of American citizens robbed or killed while engaged in the fur trade or inland trade with Mexico, and others related.
