Details
c.1915 FORD MODEL T TOURER

Registration No. Not Known
Engine No. Tba
Black with blue interior

Engine: four cylinder, 176.7ci, 22hp; Gearbox: planetary transmission, two speeds forward, one reverse - three pedal, one lever; Brakes: contracting band on transmission; Suspension: transverse springs, front and rear. Left hand drive.

Visually from its specification, this Model T would seem to date from 1915, which was one of the first revisions to the bodywork styles, when a fixed flat panel bulkhead became cowled into the body, this would later evolve into a fully streamlined cowl in 1917, but for this period, it took this form and was the last series to retain the brass radiator present from the origination of the model. Ford reached a milestone that year with the production of the one millionth Model T, it was also the year that Fords came factory equipped with electric lights.

To left hand drive specification, the car is predominantly complete, but following decades of storage will require restoration.

Special notice
This lot is offered without reserve. No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium, which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
