AYLWARD MANCHESTER, with draw-tube, rack and pinion and micrometer focusing, circular stage incorporating aperture disc, substage condensor with diaphragm and plano-concave mirror, tilting on a raised Y-shaped foot, with one eyepiece and one objective, in a mahogany carrying case with brass handle -- 35.4cm. (14in.) high; the second stamped on the foot BAKER 244, HIGH HOLBORN LONDON, with draw-tube, rack and pinion and micrometer focusing, double nosepiece, simple stage with condensor and diaphragm, and plano-concave mirror, tilting on a raised Y-shaped foot, with one eyepiece and two objectives, in a mahogany case with brass handle and key -- 31.5cm.
