signed LTM, the chapter ring graduated III-XII, I-IX with sprung gnomon, the folding latitude arm graduated 8°-90°, the octagonal horizontal plate with engraved scroll and geometric decoration and a compass box with blued-iron needle and an engraved windrose with initialled compass points in Latin, engraved on the underside with the latitudes of eleven continental towns --5.4cm.
