An unusual mid 18th-Century simple perpetual calendar,
the manuscript paper dial signed Willm:Bardwell:1757 , further inscribed in ink with various decorations and VINCIT AMOR PATRIÆ, with the days of the month listed by a small aperture through which is visible the rotating calendar disc numbered 1-31, glazed and mounted in a circular ebonised wooden frame -- 22.5cm. (8 7/8in.) diameter
