A German teddy bear
with short blonde mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, slotted-in ears, swivel head, elongated body, jointed limbs with felt pads and hump, 1910-20 --11¼in. (28.5cm.) high (hand pads recovered, some overall wear and thinning); and a similar larger bear with golden short mohair and orange and black glass eyes, 1920s -- 21in. (53.5cm.) high (pads replaced, two small holes in body and back of left ear, general wear and thinning) (2)
