Quiver form, the sides enamelled in pinks, white and green with birds within scrolling foliage and floral cartouches and chased with grotesque masks, the hinged cover with similar birds and surmounted by a salamander, diamond-set thumbpiece, the gold mounted inside fitted with folding penknife with gold handle, swirling fluted gold quill holder, scissors with steel blades, steel compass, gold needle- threader, steel ruler, file and ivory tablets
