FIRST EDITION of "the first agricultural bibliography ['Catalogus autorum' pp. 42v-53r] listing some 500 writers elaborately classified, e.g. Greek writers whose works are lost (over 150) or extant, Arabic writers in Latin translations, recent Latin writers not yet published, etc. For lost writers the exact source of citation is given. Camerarius, son of the well-known humanist of the same name, was a physician and botanist" (Breslauer/Folter 26).
