A FINE COMPLETE SET OF THE LATER EDITION OF THIS INFORMATIVE LITERARY ENCYCLOPAEDIA, arranged chronologically, and with many bibliographical details. The first edition was apparently published by Saxe (or Saxius) in 1759 according to the preface, but it is not listed in the standard bibliographies. The authors are listed under the year of the appearance of their first manuscript or of their first publication, this is then followed by their other publications, and references to biographical sources. Volumes I-IV deals with books published up covering the world's literary output until 1651 and includes an index at the end of vol. IV; volumes V-VII covers 1651-1769, with vol.
