12o (154 x 87 mm). Collation: A-D6 E2. PRINTED ON VELLUM, one of two copies. Red morocco gilt by Hippolyte Duru, signed and dated 1856, gilt edges, (joints slightly rubbed). Provenance: Antoine-Laurent Potier (1806-81), who retained this vellum copy for his own collection (1870 Paris sale, lot 2253) -- Claude Guérin (anonymous sale, acting as his own expert, Drouot 7 December 1990, lot 64).

Published at the height of Elzevier mania. The other vellum copy was presumably designated for Chenu.
