Numerous color and black-and-white plates. Original green cloth (faded). B.H. Breslauer's priced working copy for one of the most important binding sales of the 20th century. He represented Don Bartolomé March, Otto Schäfer and the Spencer Collection at NYPL. Although two experts assisted, the collector wrote most of the descriptions himself. Added to the lot are a cloth-bound typed Grolier Club exhibition catalogue of Esmerian's bindings, with mounted photos, the collector's own copy; and a thin unillustrated issue of the fat vol. 3 sale catalogue "Pour votre commodité."
