Contemporary brown straight-grained half morocco gilt by Riviere, spines in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and third, the others with a single centrally-placed fleuron tool, top edge gilt (extremities slightly rubbed, slight scuffing to covers). Provenance: E. Macrory (subscriber); Wilfred Merton (bookplate, dated 1919).
