A large quantity of loose script pages, various dates September 1960 - October, 1961, with approximately 25 pages annotated in blue ballpoint pen in Brando's hand with notes and observations on the script and storyline including:
- p. 51: #In general there is nothing to keep story alive;
- p. 57: With cuts to warrior with spear, could build tension to contrast with gaiety;
- p. 58: His English [Minarii] can be more comic and not quite so exact, he understands too much - wonderful opportunity to misunderstand;
- p. 66: Christian should from the start want to get the girl and be frustrated by Bligh. Plants breadfruit, Browns love and devotion to plants, lectures, his fickleness in choosing right sprout. Brown extols beauties of plant life while Christian looks at girls franticly fingering his genitalia...;
- p. 84B: don't tell the joke, let us see it;
