WITH A LENGTHY, SURREAL PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION on the front free endpaper: "To Dan Love you as a Train goes through the cats toothbrush, because I've made & mad & But never is afraid or fraid will please their cornpatches on old jeans : make thru hard freeze dried corn flakes for nothing will satisfy the Jewish coyote. Bob Dylan P.S. Remember the Tarantula guernsey cow?!" Dylan's Tarantula is his only foray into literary prose, a work "of fantasy and imagination," as stated on the copyright page. Dylan presentation inscriptions are VERY RARE: no inscribed presentation copies by Dylan are recorded in American Book Prices Current and inscribed memorabilia rarely comes on the market.
