FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed by Goldman on the half-title: "For Bret William Goldman." The published screenplay for the famous 1969 film starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Goldman was nominated for an Academy Award for this screenplay, and the film was nominated for an additional six Oscars.
