FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY GREENE TO HIS BROTHER on the front free endpaper: "With love from Graham." The Third Man was adapted into a very successful film in 1949, starring Joseph Cotton, Trevor Howard and Orson Welles. The movie won an Academy Award for best photography and a nomination for director Carol Reed. A VERY FINE ASSOCIATION COPY.
