Although Lucas is credited as the author of this novel, it was actually written by Foster, a science-fiction writer. THIS COPY IS ADDITIONALLY SIGNED by Maria de Aragon, who played Greedo in the movie, Dave Prowse, who played Darth Vader, and Bill Hootkins, who was an X-wing pilot. The 1977 film, revolutionary for its use of special effects, won six Academy Awards and became a pop cultural phenomenon.
