A Victorian skeleton timepiece with moonphase and coup perdu escapement
Late 19th century
The silvered dial for regulator-type format with annular minute ring, seconds beneath 60 and the hours intersecting the minute ring at 30, a further twice XII ring and moonphase above, the long Y-shaped movement frame with three turned pillars, chain fusee and spring barrel, coup perdu escapement with beat adjustment, the movement on two brass pedestals and a velvet-lined rosewood base
