The case with large turned mahogany dial frame, long hinged doors to each side, the trunk with shaped ears flanking the door with concave shaped top, the base with drop-down hinged door with internal latch, the 20 in. diameter cream painted dial signed Jagoe Grosvenor Street London with blued steel pierced spade-form hands, the movement with rectangular shouldered brass plates, single weight-driven train with anchor escapement and five pillars
