A William & Mary walnut and marquetry longcase clock

The 11 in. square dial with silvered Roman and Arabic ring with well shaped blued steel hands, matted centre with calendar aperture and seconds ring, signed Johnathan Puller Londini Fecit at the base, foliate gilt-brass spandrels, latches to the dial feet and also to the six ring-turned pillars, anchor escapement internal countwheel strike with access hole in the backplate for the lifting piece, the later bell now re-positioned on the backboard, the case inlaid with bird and floral marquetry in D-ended panels to the rectangular trunk door with oval lenticle and later mouldings, the formerly rising flat top hood with twist columns and now cut with a door, the plinth re-built with later marquetry
