Cylindrical, applied with reeded bands, and with reeded scroll handle, the detachable flat cover with swivelling crescent cover over the aperture, the body with conical extinguisher on chain and with applied holder, the front engraved with the Royal Arms, marked on side, cover, and extinguisher

The Royal Arms Great Britain with the Royal Arms of Hanover in pretence, beneath an electoral bonnet, are those of King George III (1760-1820) as borne between 1801 and 1816.
