Shaped circular, on three scroll feet, with moulded border, the field chased with a border of scrolls, rocaille, fishscales and diaperwork, and engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on reverse, also engraved with number and scratchweight 'No 7 6oz'

The arms are those of Graham quartering Montrose, presumably for James, 1st Duke of Montrose (1682-1742).
