A William & Mary silver snuffer-stand and a pair of Queen Anne silver snuffers
The snuffer-stand, London, 1694, maker's mark a B crowned, struck twice, the snuffers, mark of David Green, London, 1713
The flattened oblong holder with scroll sides on baluster stem and octagonal foot, with gadrooned borders, and with scroll handle, the holder later engraved with a coat-of-arms and a crest, marked under base, the snuffers of scissor form with slightly flattened handles, engraved with a crest, marked on handles and either side of snuffer-box, also engraved with scratchweight '3=3=0'
The stand, 4¼in. (10.7cm.) high; the snuffers, 5 3/8in. (13.5cm.) long
8oz. (279gr.)
The later arms are those of Head, probably for Fir Francis Head 1st Bt. (1793-1875), who was created a baronet in 1837.

The crest of the snuufers is that or Mountain or Mountaine. (2)
