Lot Essay

This depicts Maharishi Mahesh Yogi who was in the news at the time for being George Harrison's spiritual guru. Things were obviously so desperate for Harold Wilson's tenure at Number 10 that JAK suggests a drastic measure that might be taken. Wilson resigned shortly afterwards to make way for Jim Callaghan.
