One Bristol & Exeter painted with a Royal Crown, stylised flowers and inscribed 'BED 97' by Parker

The other South Devon inscribed 'SDR 54' with a crown and flower, both on black ground (2)
Literature
The History of Truncheons: Illustrated pl.9, Nos.2 & 3. The Bristol & Exeter line was incorporated 1836 and opened 1844; South Devon incorporated 1844 and opened 1846. They were amalgamated into Great Western Railways circa 1878.
