Levels: five bottom neck or better and one very top shoulder
Full garnet/red colour. Classic Lafite nose with a refined aroma of musk and cassis leaping from the glass. Dry. Lots of tannin. Good sweet plum and earth flavours. Definitely decant at least 2 hours prior to serving. Fine and ready, but will hold. ***1/2 Sep. 2003 DW
