After two recent visits, tasting the wines and touring the vineyards, one thing becomes clear. This one of the most spectacular locations for one of California's greatest producers and even on my first trip in the pouring rain I was blown away. Established in 1987 by Englishman, Peter Michael on 600 acres high up in Knights Valley. Today fruit also comes from Sonoma Valley, Sonoma Coast and the Napa Valley. From the outset this operation has had no expense spared and is purely quality driven. Both the reds and whites are among the absolute finest wines made in California and the selection offered below is perhaps one of the most comprehensive we have seen. That combined with a low production make this a rare opportunity for lovers of these wines. Better still, all purchased upon release direct from the winery.
