Domenico Clerico is one of the great names of the Langhe, a reputation gained for his astounding consistency of quality. He gained attention with his Barolo Ciabot Mentin Ginestra from the 1982 vintage and, the following year, began to release the enormously successful Arte, a blend of 80-90 per cent nebbiolo with separately vinified barbera.
