The rectangular Rosso Africano veneered marble top, above a frieze carved with acanthus scrolls and rosettes centred by a bacchic mask with vine headdress and above a foliate moulded edge, the sides decorated conformingly, on channelled tapering turned legs headed by upswept acanthus capitals and terminating in paw feet, with pencil numbering '4124/20', restorations to the marble
35½ in. (90 cm.) high; 63 in. (160 cm.) wide; 27½ in. (70 cm.) deep
