ARMES ET OUTILS D'AFRIQUE PROVENANT DE LA COLLECTION DE FREDERICK ET CLAIRE MEBEL Un grand nombre des lots présentés ici furent exposés à la galerie Hillwood Art à Greenvale, New York lors de l'exposition African Metal Implements - Weapons, Tools and Regalia, en 1984. Puis l'exposition fut montrée au Fine Institute of Arts de Flint dans le Michigan et au Dayton Art Institute de Dayton dans l'Ohio. C'est à cette exposition que l'abréviation African Metal Implements fait référence.
