The case with handle to bell top, later fish scale frets to the sides and front door, later rear door, the 8 in. wide dial signed Richd. Andrews/London on a recessed silvered plaque in the arch flanked by rings for strike/silent and pendulum regulation, narrow silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, blued steel hands, the matted centre with date aperture, the eight day twin wire fusee movement with five pillars, verge escapement with spring suspended pendulum regulated by a bar-and-cam system above the plates, strike on bell, the back plate engraved with foliage and centred by an eagle, similarly engraved pendulum securing piece and movement brackets -- 20¼ in.
