The shield-shaped dial signed William Wallen/Wokingham, with gilt-painted brass hands, the trunk door decorated with a scene of Bacchus, the eight day movement with rectangular plates joined by four pillars, five wheel train with anchor escapement -- 65½ in. (166 cm.) high
