A Queen Anne 9¾ in. square clock dial and movement, circa 1705
With cherub and coronet spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, with fleur-de-lys half hour and diamond half quarter hour markers, signed Jno. Tribe Thackham, matted centre with ringed winding holes, bird and basket engraving around the date aperture, subsidiary seconds ring, original hands (part replaced minute), the eight day movement with five ringed pillars, anchor escapement and inside countwheel strike on bell; now in late 18th century oak case -- 77¾ in. (197.5 cm.) high
