19TH CENTURY, IMITATION SEVRES MARKS
Of shaped rectangular section, the back upright rectangular panel painted with Asiatic pheasants in landscape, the central panel with a bouquet, within raised-gilt diaper and floral cartouches flanked by two cylindrical ink-pots and ormolu covers, the front bombé section and edges moulded with fronds, on shell-moulded feet (slight wear to gilding)

Provenance
Given by the Duke of Montrose in 1842 as a wedding present to Lord Decies and left to his relative Gen. Charles Beresford, then subsequently gifted to the present owner's mother.
