the case with swag-hung urn surmount, with female mask-headed fluted pilasters to the sides and trellis work to the front, on plinth base cast with foliage, with bracket feet to the front and toupie feet to the sides, the dial with off-white Roman enamel chapter ring and foliate centre, the twin going barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, French, last quarter 19th century -- 16¾in.(43cm.) high
