the ball inscribed in ink From Tom Morris, Oct 1903, VI, in excellent condition, with a signed letter from Tom Morris, dated 6 Jan, 1906 stating that I hereby certify I have played a few rounds on St. Andrews old course with this ball, the letter stuck down within the book by W.W. Tulloch, The Life of Tom Morris
