the case with swag-hung scroll pediment surmounted by an urn, with flambeau urns to the corners, the frieze cast with flowerheads, with reeded pilasters below eagle mounts with outspred wings to the angles, grotesque masks trailing foliage to the sides, a relief model of a knight and page mounted to the front, on moulded bracket feet, with white enamel Roman dial (some cracking), with single going barrel movement, French, last quarter 19th century -- 22¾in.(57.5cm.) high
