EDO-MEIJI PERIOD (19TH CENTURY),
comprising a single-case black and gold lacquer inro with shell-inlay on an orange ground with a carp in crashing waves, with a bead ojime and a large ivory netsuke of a Chinese Immortal riding on the back of a giant carp, inscribed Tomokazu; a four-case gold lacquer inro with Noh players, signed Shosai and with monogram, fitted with a metal ojime with rabbits in boats, signed Shunsho and inscribed, with an ivory Kagami netsuke
