EXCEPTIONALLY RARE FIRST EDITION of one of the earliest works devoted exclusively to the Philippines, by the Jesuit Procurator General in Manila from 1615. The 'Relacion' also contains correspondence between Bobadilla and Marcelo Mastrillo, with Mastrillo's first-hand account of the Spanish conquest of the island of Mindanao, by Sebastian Hurtado de Cocuera against Corralat, in the naval battle of 1637 and the temporary subjugation and defeat of the Moros.
