An attractive lacquered-brass armillary sphere
unsigned, probably 20th-century after the antique, the central sunball mounted within two meridians, with small Earth and Moon balls at one side, mounted together within three swinging meridians in the main sphere composed of two meridian circles, Tropic circles, Polar circles, the northern with stamped but unnumbered graduations, the southern engraved CIRCVLVS ANTARCTICVS, graduated but unnumbered equatorial and an ecliptic band with numbered graduations and engraved with names and sigils for the houses of the Zodiac, turning within a meridian (one retaining pin missing) with stamped and numbered graduations and engraved CIRCVLVS MERIDIANVS, held in a graduated and numbered horizon ring engraved with the italian names of eight winds and CIRCVLVS PARALLELVS, raised on four quadrant supports to a baluster-turned column and circular plinth base
