A French propeller driven mono-hull speed boat test model
with a stepped hull and built up in veneers over frames and painted blue. With a cockpit, window frame, propeller on a raised aerodynamic form aft of the cockpit, rudder, the French airforce symbol and marked with "R-1". The propeller driven by rubber bands. Along with a certificate from the French Association of Inventors and Miniatrure Builders for the "Concours Lepine/Le Salon des Inventions/1931" awarding a bronze medal to the builder Mr. Vaudequin for Class E
