Of flattened baluster form, the finial of the domed cover carved as an openwork Buddhist lion, its face and mane well detailed and finely incised, the vase with two lion-mask handles in shallow relief and suspending fixed rings, the opaque amber of an even honey-coloured tone with subtle darker inclusions
