One of the incised marks on this figure reads Dehua, the other in a double gourd is known as the 'fisherman's mark' and reads Pu ji yu ren (virtue extending to fishermen).

Fuhu (Tiger Tamer) Luohan was one of the eighteen luohan, and is often thought to be a manifestation of Buddha Maitreya.
